Hi..
Been looking around and found some with similair GUI problems but didnt find any with the same as me. So bare with me..
Running cubase 10 on a win 10 machine. And loading up zebra is working just fine. I can see all, browsing presets, edit sound etc. After that, maybe after working with something else (no matter) and opening it again the GUI is all white. Just the frame zebra2. In other word i cant do anything even if it plays in the background. Reloading it again works fine but then it repeat itself and it doestn seem to matter if i do anything with it after loading the first time, opening it again will just give me a white GUI staring back at me..
All my other u-he products works fine (as far as i can tell), even HZ so i find it kind of strange. Any ideas peeps?

Hi Vaijj,
that's a very mysterious case.
There are a few ways to get the plugin to show up with a white GUI, but usually it will always display the white GUI right from the start.
First, which version and revision of Zebra are you using? You can find the revision number in the GUI, directly under the Zebra logo.
No pun intended, as you said the GUI shows up when you load a fresh instance.
Very old versions of our plugins will not work anymore with the latest versions of hosts like Cubase or Live.
So it needs to be at least rev. 3898 or higher, otherwise the plugin might open with the white GUI.
Secondly, which skin are you using, is it maybe a third-party skin?
Thirdly, such white GUI issues can happen when something went wrong with the installation.
So it might be good to completely uninstall and reinstall Zebra.
You can find info about how to uninstall a plugin in this support article:
Uninstalling u-he plugins
And please be careful where you install the Zebra.data folder to, because installing it into the program files location can also cause the white GUI problem.
Last but not least, it is possible that it's a Cubase issue.
There is an old thread in the Cubase forum about someone having issues with white GUIs in Cubase for years:

Hello..
And thx for getting back to me. It took me some time to go over things, open older projects etc. Thing is in some of the older project that i have Zebra in i now found that some also opens directly with a white GUI. This is some old projects that i know i started when i first bought Zebra. But even wierder is that if i have added a zebra instance like a few months ago into the old priject it open up at first and then go white as described earlier. I may also add that the older instance also open up "white" with that small sized GUI on the old Zebra, prior to 2.8 while the later one opens with whatever sized i have choosen.
As of now i run REV 7422 and im using the skin DarkEight. As you mentioned i start to think it is something with Cubase even though it's only Zebra that has this GUI glitch. I noticed now that when i load in fresh instance of Zebra i can clearly see how it first goes all white before loading as it should. But so far it always loads the first time.
Thakns i will go and check that thread on the Steinberg forum. Maybe im lucky and find something there. and if someone has any otehr ideas feel free to post it here..
Thanks..
