Loop sample rate different from project sample rate?

Sorry, another "duh" question that I don't know the answer to because I never work with audio loops. (I did try to RTFM but was unable to find the answer.)

I always record in 24 bit 44.1 kHz, partly because I collaborate with people whose systems probably couldn't do much higher and partly just because it's typically been good enough. I want to buy a library of audio drum loops that were recorded at 48 kHz. Can I just drop those into a 44.1 kHz Waveform project, and will the software convert it? Or would I have to do some kind of manual conversion, in which case ugh?
