I am looking to use an external midi controller to control perimeters in a VST plug using Blue Cat Patchwork.
My specific setup is to open patchwork AAX in Pro Tools 12.5 on an aux channel, and load my plugin (amp simulator for guitar) within patchwork . I can't seem to make patchwork learn my midi controller knob after setting up a controller within Patchwork. I think I've tried everything.
If I do this process in Blue Cat Patchwork standalone, it works. Does anyone have any insight on how to do this?

In standalone, PatchWork receives the MIDI events from connected MIDI controllers directly. In Pro Tools you simply need to add a MIDI track to route the events from the MIDI interface to the plug-in (you also have to activate input monitoring on it).
