Do I have to run this inside Patchwork to get MIDI Thru when using MIDI scripts?

PacthWork can indeed help you do that, but you can also modify the MIDI scripts so that they also copy the incoming MIDI events to the output.

Thanks! Is there some boiler-plate paste-in code scrap that would just do that in any MIDI script?

Btw, tried using Patchwork as a work-around, but when I load Plug'n'Script into Patchwork, it crashes Logic (Not Responding) as soon as I start trying to use/adjust it.

This is odd. Are you using the latest version of Plug'n Script released on Friday (3.2)?
