Tracks shifted after "Abort & restart" button press ?

Hello.
I'm trying an Antelope interface, the Orion Studio 2017 on Mac and PC (Bootcamp) with Thunderbolt drivers, latest OS versions and latest version of Waveform.
I'm getting really weird clicks and saturations with all buffer sizes on the PC version. Probably a driver problem ? Can't solve latency problems... Are there known problems with this interface and Waveform ?
Works much better on the Mac with 32 buffer size by example. But I realize that sometimes (and it happened too with my old Mackie Onyx 1200F Firewire interface), if I press the "Abort & restart" button, when I stop the recording, all tracks begin at zero visually but the waveforms are shifted inside the tracks !!!!!! Impossible to get them right after...
Some feedbacks ?

That's nasty! I'd guess that the shifted waveform's are not a driver issue, yet it's just a guess. If it's not, and it's a replicable Waveform bug, this needs serious attention by the devs. I've had mystery repositioning of clip positions on several edits over the years, yet haven't been able to replicate the issue in a consistent enough manner for dev debugging. Will add Abort & Restart to my awareness when looking into these kinds of issues.

Hello and thanks for your return.
It happened with an old interface and a new one, so I would agree to say that it's not a driver issue.
It happened many times so, I have to avoid this option but it's so useful...
Another thing, when I press Abort, sound is muted on all outputs and I always have to press the Panic Button just near to make it work again. Anyone experienced it ?

Again, what version of Waveform are you using?
What version of Windows (including build)?
I'd update audio interface drivers to see if the PC performance issues resolve, or at least improve.

Thanks for the version info. I'm using the same Windows version / build, yet it's Home, not Pro.
While trying to duplicate what your describing, I discovered that any Waveform version after 10.2.5 breaks the audio inputs to all of my interfaces, in that no matter what's enabled on the settings page, there are no inputs available in edits. It seems I may be the only user experiencing this issue, so it seems to indicate some system (OS) level issue.
Hope the devs chime in here soon.

If you want access to it, you need to contact Tracktion support and request to become a beta tester / bug reporter.

Update regarding my post describing audio inputs disappearing after 10.2.5. While trouble shooting other issues, I reloaded 10.3.4 (latest dev beta), and bingo... the inputs were back!
