From Tony‘s last newsletter:
In the works:
New plugin & maintenance updates for all existing Klanghelm plugins
As many of you might already know, I am developing an EQ plugin for quite some time now. It still needs a considerable amount of work. But I do hope to have a finished plugin by the end of next year's first quarter.
Also, maintenance updates for all Klanghelm plugins will be released as soon as the macOS Catalina related caveats are ruled out (see above).
From these updates on all Klanghelm plugins will be 64bit only. 32-bit support will be dropped in order to follow current security and technical requirements by the OS vendors.
All the best,
Tony Frenzel | Klanghelm

I expect something in the direction of TDR EQ (the track EQ).
It has a lot of extras (different slopes, saturation, matching etc.) on board.
Surely the Klanghelm EQ will have something special.

I heard from a reliable source that the industry will be phasing out compressors, eq's, reverbs and saturation plugins sooner than you might think because there are just too many of them on the market.

If DC8C is anything to go by, there's also chance that it could be some sort of Frankenstein monster of an EQ.Vortifex wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2019 11:48 am Really interested to see his take on EQ. I assume it'll be a traditional static EQ with dials rather than something like Crave EQ or Toneboosters EQ4.

I'm sure this news will have the developers of This Plugin scurrying back to the metaphorical drawing board to see what can be done about this new and serious threat to their dominance in the plugin market.

I heard the real reason was that the over-usage of saturation in so many mixes has significantly increased co2 emissions.Aloysius wrote: Thu Oct 03, 2019 1:23 pm I heard from a reliable source that the industry will be phasing out compressors, eq's, reverbs and saturation plugins sooner than you might think because there are just too many of them on the market.
