I upgraded to Hive 2.0, and have been loving it. For some reason, when i came back on another day, it needed to be reauthorized a second time. No problem. But I did some work before putting my password back in.

I rendered a file and sent it to a client, and the timing of the copy-protection crackle was perfect with a point in her audio narrative for fireworks to happen.

Now she wants them back. Lol. What's the quickest way to capture and record the unregistered crackle? I'm on a deadline, and I don't want to muck around uninstalling my synths! (And I own all u-he synths.) Does Twangstrom do the same thing?

Yeah, just install any of our stuff you don't have.

(Anything but Zebra2, which has a different demo limitation - it plays sequences of C-E-B-R(andom)-A after a while)

Thanks, Urs.

Do I need to be sending a signal through Twang (that's the only thing I don't own) for it to register/clock/ do whatever it needs to to sizzle for me.

I don't think you do. Depends on the host though. Some don't process plug-ins unless something had happened ever.

Thanks for the reply, Urs. I wasn't able to get Twangstrom to work, so I deleted and reinstalled a synth. Got what I needed!

I'm working on a set of guided meditations for kids - and Hive 2.0 has been AWESOME to work with.

On some plugins, you will have to play a note or run some audio through them to start the countdown for the demo noise. Then it's between two and five minutes before they start to output the demo crackle from time to time.
