In a vocal track I want have a delay effect only on one word. How do I do this with TurboDelay and automataion in my DAW. Using Bypass doesn't work, because this also stops the delayed signal.
I tried some hours without result. What I have done is to cut this word from the vocals and put it in a new track. But this is very laborious.

Thanks for your help.

He probably just wants to know a) if there's something similar to an input gain param and b) how to automate it or another control that enables the delay processing. No need to make it more complicated.

Why not put the delay on a send and automate what gets send to it?

Also, if you're using it as a direct insert, you should be able to automate the Dry/Wet
level in the delay plugin. Just keep it 100% dry across the whole track, but with a bump
toward wet where needed.
