MIDI CC Problem with ZebraHZ

Hi,
I just bought the U-he ZebraHZ plugin but the MIDI messages CC1 and CC11 and CC7 too seem to have no effect on it.
For example, when I write the CC11 (or others) automation in my DAW, nothing happens during reading.
In the plugin settings (toothed wheel) I have selected C1 (modulation) and C11 (expression) but the plugin seems not to react and I don't know why.
Does anyone know what this is about?
Thank you.
PS: I use Cubase on PC

If the Ctrl A or Ctrl B modulations aren't used in the patch, the CCs you set for those won't do anything.

BTW: It's best NOT to set CC 1 for Control A, as the modulation wheel (ModWhl) is already available as modulation source and is used in most presets. You could/should have left it at the default CC 2 (Breath).

Damn, that's not practical at all!EvilDragon wrote: Sun Oct 27, 2019 8:58 pm If the Ctrl A or Ctrl B modulations aren't used in the patch, the CCs you set for those won't do anything.
Ok I'll put the CC back as it was but I find it really weird to put the CC2 Breath to drive the modulation wheel.Howard wrote: Sun Oct 27, 2019 11:01 pm BTW: It's best NOT to set CC 1 for Control A, as the modulation wheel (ModWhl) is already available as modulation source and is used in most presets. I just wanted to add a "fade in" and a "fade out" on a preset that I like, I think it's a bit of a headache for not much in the end.
Thank you for your advice and information

That's it, I've figured out how to fix the problem. I had misinterpreted the answer from EvilDragon.
Thank you and for those who would have the same problem. You must check in the preset you are interested in, which controllers are used and assign them accordingly.

?? I suspect you are misunderstanding something here (I admit the manual isn't very clear about MIDI control).Akcel wrote: Mon Oct 28, 2019 6:33 am Ok I'll put the CC back as it was but I find it really weird to put the CC2 Breath to drive the modulation wheel.
1) CC1 is simply the mod wheel and doesn't need to be "driven". Just like CC64 is simply the sustain/hold pedal.
2) Once you have set Control A and B to the CC of your choice (by default 2 and 11), there's seldom a good reason to change them. Just make sure that your hardware is sending them i.e. set a pair of knobs or sliders to those two CC.
Hope that helped...
