Waveform 10.3.6 Public Beta Available

Hi everyone, we've got a minor update in beta now, the main things here are for Mac users.

Firstly, we've added a now-required entitlement to ask for mic access which you might need if you've not run earlier versions of Waveform.

Secondly, we're testing out some changes to how graphics are handled on macOS. In short, the UI performance should be much better now, especially on large, HiDPI displays. Please let us know if you notice a difference or if you see any graphical glitches anywhere.

There is indeed a GUI Improvement on El Capitan; microtonic UI is more responsive.
I notived a bug with fab filter pro C2 : UI scale bug and impossible to adjust parameters.
Some letter on Waveform tab diseapered.

Can you elaborate a bit more on the Fab Filter bug? What's the problem with the scale? Maybe post a screenshot. Also, what version of the plugin are you using (AU, VST, VST3). Do either of the other variants work?
Can you also make sure you're updated to the latest version of the Fab Filter plugins as I believe there was an issue with a version from about 6 months ago.

Not quite sure what you mean by "Some letter on Waveform tab diseapered", perhaps a screenshot would be simplest to demonstrate?

Is there any other link or way around this?

If this problem with app opening, you can try this command in terminal:

Code: Select all

xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine <path_to_app>

<path_to_app> — "/Applications/Waveform 10.app"
Use quotes if there is spaces in app name.
