MSF Key Range

I'm trying to overlap the notes that are playable by 2 generators (think 4ths as a guitar). If I stray <> an octave things get hard to think about due to using offsets.
Assigning the MIDI is/ was a simple task, but the output is eluding me for some reason.
I'm sure that I'm just looking at it wrong, any ideas?
