U-He Hive 2 - Midi Problem

Hi all,

Not sure if this is documented anywhere, but I upgraded to Hive v2 and having an issue with midi input in Studio One v4 (4.6).

I have the qwerty keyboard enabled and every time I play notes on the instrument, they get STUCK! It plays infinitely, even when changing patches. It's is ruining the experience for me. At the moment I have seen no other synth that causes the same problem.

I can see the qwerty keys getting stuck in the studio one virtual keyboard, but it only happens with Hive and nothing else. Not tested in any other DAW currently.

Please include info about your system, Mac or PC, and which plugin format of Hive 2 you're using.

The qwerty keyboard issue is not a bug in our plugins, it's a bug in the qwerty keyboard itself, in connection with VST3 plugins. For more info, please read this thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=541167
