Mulab 8.1.5
I have 2 Keystep (arturia) connected , both are desplayed in midi device selection with same name.
But one of them is ignored as midi input in main window to drive instrument.
In Ableton both Keyboard are working together very well.
Unfortunly i cannot add or change hardware ID to make difference of the hardware.
Maybe it would be usefull to add internal number for input device in mulab when devices are loaded if people use multiple device of same controllers and manufacturer.

Have you checked using the MIDI Input Monitor?

MuLab's MIDI device system indeed is name based which means it's currently not possible to use different devices with the same name.
