What I dislike in Tracktion T7: its colours

I love the minimalist interface from Tracktion, hope it never changes. Most other DAW software look like a videogame and so much graphic content distracts me. Tracktion is perfect in this regard.

However Tracktion did great (for my personal taste of course) the difficult part: designing a pleasant, elegant and functional UI, but failed at the simplest thing: colours! or I'd rather say in the possibility of defining personal colours in case you don't like the default themes.

For me less saturated colours would make the tool more pleasant to use, and would help to focus in what really matters. Taking the Traction T7 dark theme and desaturating a bit we get a nicer UI.

For dark rooms:

For luminous rooms on daily time just inverting the previous one produces a pleasant UI:

Why don't you try to use search on this forum? viewtopic.php?f=22&t=458556
Or, did you even see the option that have some build-in color schemes (Apperance->Look-and-feel->Colour-scheme:) ?

I never do searchs on forums, the engine is always terrible. I did it on Google instead, and reached to that thread and read it entirely, but didn't find any information there about any Apperance->Look-and-feel->Colour-scheme option. Could you elaborate about where to find it in Tracktion T7? that would be a life saver! I also read T7 manual and again there is no info there in this regard, you can only pick between dark and light colours, but not change them.

"Note: Apart from these two options, the new color scheme can’t be changed. The color
editor feature has been retired. The good news is that you won’t waste time tweaking the
colors so you can spend more time recording!"

Yeah, sorry, built-in color schemes are present in Waveform only .
But, do you think that developers will bring feature back into unsupported software, just because you dislike that?

Dude I am with you. Been begging forever for a couple of levels of gray and a saturation slider for each pallet. Not all of us are into garish colors.

No, I'm pretty sure they won't add any feature to T7, after all they already set that version for free and that's something to be very grateful to for those of us who just take this as a hobby. I was just speaking up about the only thing I dislike from T7 (so far), to share thoughts with other users.

I personally love T7's colorscheme, way better than T6 imo, idk but T7 maybe their last free version (not sure) so its not bad that im stuck with my favorite tracktion UI so far. I would have switched to W10 by now if i was able to do international transactions. W10 has a far better UI.
