Awesome DAW, BTW. I find myself spending lots of time trying to figure out why things are crashing. Not very creative, so whenever I open Waveform now, it is not to be creative or to have music creation in mind as what is implied by Tracktion, I find myself searching thousands of posts and searching google, facebook, etc to figure out why things are crashing. I spend 4-6 hrs a night doing this and I have no musical inspiration left when Im in this app.
So. 1st. Im on Windows 10, Intel (R) Core(TM) i7 06700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz 16 GB RAM
The problem Im having is when I try to load any Sonivox plugin or Captian plugin, they draw errors and crash.
Advice Ive gotten was less than helpful (I sure wish people didnt do that, as it is a really poor thing to do to someone having issues they dont have and they bark out snarky remarks to attack because they somehow feel attacked because people sometimes have software issue). Please, if you can't help, then at least dont be an a-hole about it.
Im not attacking Tracktion; I love the software. Im just looking for a solution I have not been able to find and could use some help.
DO I absolutely "need" Sonivox or Captian plugins? No. However, they work fine in DP 10, Mulab and FL Studio, so Im not going to uninstall em nor am I going to hack xml files to try and handroll >dpiAwearness> commands as suggested on Facebook.
Lots of great things going on with Waveform, however, lately, creating music has not been something I could do in Waveform because not using those particular tools I want to use, drains my inspiration in Waveform. So, I crawl back to DP10 or FL Studio wondering if anyone else found a solution to this or have similar problems, or if any Tracktion support is aware of this at all, me knowing how busy they are. "Hosts and Plugins" is nightmare.
Worst side is that Waveform not so popular as to pushing plugin's devs for debugging. You can try to run this plugins through pluginval and if it crashes - send results to plugin's and Tracktion developers.

if you use mulab, maybe you like have the feature in waveform too. for mux is a demo https://www.mutools.com/mux-product.html , maybe you can get this plugins working in waveform when you add it on MUX
