Hive 2 overwriting presets

I have Hive 2 and for some reason, if I have created a preset and then further edit the preset and save it may randomly overwrite the original but generally creates a new preset with the same name, and so have to delete the old which is time-consuming. Anyone else have the same problem?

There's a Preference for this. Go to Preferences and turn "Auto-Versioning" off. I believe it's meant for preset designers who may want multiple variations of the same sound before picking a favorite to declare final. You may also want to check the "Save Preset To" setting to make sure it's as you want it.
