Hi. Using MNotepad, REAPER crashed and, despite hitting CMD+S, my typed notes disappeared. I've since figured out that you have to save your input as a preset like other Melda plugins.
That got me to thinking that, being a text editor, it should be easier to save the work. I understand that the host is stealing keyboard commands but a small disk icon to, upon first click, open a dialog to save a new preset while subsequent clicks update - or 'replace' - the current one.
Being that this is in a global part of the interface, I don't see why this would be much of a detriment as an addition to other plugins as well. Or maybe this is all currently possible but I missed it.
Thanks.

That's not true, you do NOT need to save stuff as presets of course! It needs to save with the project. Perhaps a Reaper bug? No idea, I'm using newest Reaper here and everything seems working just fine.

I just tried it and you're right. Of course I can say it wasn't working yesterday but who knows. I'll be sure to look out for any possible inconsistencies.
Thanks.
Thanks.
