Patchwork: process multi-channel WAV (extract mono stems)?

Hi folks,
Imagine this:
I have an multi-channel track in Cubase that contains a 8 channel WAV (8 mono channels).
If I insert Patchwork, is it possible, in theory, to apply different VST FX to the different channels?
So i guess another way of asking is: if Patchwork receives an 8 channel audio stream, can it apply different plugins to the different mono streams?
Thanks in advance!

Your title is probably going to mislead people slightly; plugins dont see WAV files at all, they just get multiple small segments of audio (ie one per channel) at a time from the DAW.
You'll find the information on how Patchworks deals with multichannel audio in the help documentation at https://www.bluecataudio.com/Doc/Produc ... escription
listed in the section "Multiple Channels Support"
Basically, whilst PW can handle up to 16 input channels, by default those channels are passed in parallel to each plugin and each plugin deals with as many channels of those 16 as it supports (ie for most plugins, probably just the first two; ie stereo)
To something else, you'll need to look at custom IO routing for the individual plugins. See the section "Audio I/O Routing".

Thanks for the quick reply!
But i'm confused...........from the help page:
Using the "Audio I/O" command in the plug-in menu, it is possible to manually change which audio channels are processed by each plug-in.
But i don't see any such option in the "plug in menu" drop-down (just to the right of the "mix" knob?)
Perhaps a limitation of the demo version?

It is actually the menu that appears when clicking on a plug-in slot, not the main plug-in menu. You can select the channels processed by each plug-in loaded inside PatchWork:

Using these routing options, you can process each individual audio stream with different effects (mono, stereo or any other layout) and also re-order the channels if you want.

Nope, its there on the demo. The menu you're looking at is the one for the PW plugin itself. For the menu for the fx slot plugins, you need to (left-) click on the name of the plugin in a given slot, it'll bring up a longish menu with 'Show Editor' as the first entry.
edit : beaten to it by BlueCat. Just be aware that its left-click for the context menu, not the usual right-click you might expect.
