Hi I lost Oxygen61 device on track input menu. It was working two days ago and stopped unexpectedly yesterday.
In menu -> Settings -> midi devices I still can see Oxygen61 as an input device. It responds at key pressing (on the virtual keyboard below I can see pressed keys) (yellow keys on screenshot1)
But there is no Oxygen61 on the input device list on any track. (popup menu on screenshot2)

There also is another problem: when I am clicking on virtual keyboard on the track (by mouse), I cant hear the response. But it plays sounds in play mode. (grey button on screenshot3).

I have the same symptoms in T6 and T7.
What should I check and where? It looks strange.

This looks exactly like a problem I had. Check this thread, then scroll down to the response from a member named Peter: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=536961&p=7626608#p7626608

If you end up deleting the Settings file, you'll lose all associations to any projects and edits, but you're able to reload them after. It worked for me, and it was a life saver. I was losing my mind. Hope it works for you.

Edit: you may have to delete the Settings files in the other versions of Tracktion you have. I did.

Thx, @GuitarPlayerinNYC. It is a quite good workaround.
BTW: Just in case loosing any data, you should rather rename it than delete it. Then you can always rename it back for a while to restore some settings ;)

Did it work?

Yeah, I've started to give them .bak extensions. For some reason, Tracktion doesn't like my m-audio, but I have a new keyboard now.

One other thing to watch out for... My old VFX seemed to stop responding, and I have it connected via a simple Uno MIDI-to-USB. Then I noticed the light WAS flashing on the Uno, but Tracktion seemed to be ignoring it (not seeing any MIDI) - yet it had been working recently.

Turns out the Uno adapter needed a reset, which I assumed it did each time I shut down my old desktop. WRONG. My ASUS desktop has 8 USB ports that are still always powered up even when the computer is shut down. (there may be a Bios parameter that can be changed) - so my Uno was only ever really getting a hardware reset when I unplug the desktop during thunderstorms !
