How to create "Univibe" effect

There is a popular guitar effect called a "Univibe", which is a vintage analog effect, a modulator that was controlled by light-operated optical sensors. I'd love to be able to get that same sound within Waveform. I just don't know exactly how I might do that... Phasers and Flangers just don't get it.
Maybe a rack, with an LFO to modulate .... something else?
So I thought I would ask if anyone has any good ideas to try. Thanks!

One suggestion in the link above is the SimulAnalog Guitar suite. It's a set of VST plug ins. And there is a nice Univibe effect in there! But, I can't load it into Waveform, it won't load and I get the error message so I assume these are 32 bit plug ins. Damn.

There’s a bunch of univibe effects out there. AmpliTube has one, there’s one in the plug and mix pack which isn’t too shabby, as well as other suites of guitar fx. I love playing guitar with that effect, but unfortunately, haven’t used it in any tracks, since if you use it on guitar, you will immediately be compared to Jimi Hendrix, that sound has never been able to get any distance from that legacy, sadly.

Robin Trower’s “bridge of sighs” is a good non Hendrix univibe track, which is the exception that proves the rule.

The second link goes into deep detail about it. That may give you some ideas how to rack one up.
If you have the W11 Beta there are a lot more of the Airwindows effects. There may be some phasers there.

Here's something from the Reaper forum on the Admiral Quality Stunning Phaser $16
http://www.admiralquality.com/product/stunning-phaser/
"Univibe yes, but I wouldn't classify a pure phaser as a Leslie, even though it can approach part of that sound (and that's what the Univibe was even though it was originally intended as a Leslie effect).

We'll definitely have presets for that eventually. But to set it up now, turn the Stages to 4. Resonance to zero. LFO Waveform to sine. Env Follower Off. And Dry/Wet Mix at 100% for Vibrato or 50% for Chorus setting. There's a Univibe. You can play with the Detune and Sat controls too. You might want to roll off a bit of bottom end on the effect with the Wet HPF control. Mod Inv off. Mono In and Out for authenticity (or keep it stereo if you want). And adjust LFO Rate and Depth to taste."

For free you should be able to rack up a combination of effects from the free Melda bundle.

ShawnG, Richard Thompson uses a Univibe frequently on his acoustic guitar of all things. A monster player with a cool sound too.
Steve, thanks for the suggestions. I'll look them over. I don't have beta 11 but I do have Waveform 10 and the Tracktion Essentials plug ins so I do have some phasers to mess with. I'll play around and see what I can do.
