Problem with plugin

I recently downloaded the Lith synth plugin from Soda Devices and when I try to add it into a track on Tracktion Waveform 8, I get an error message that reads, "This track contains wave clips which may be inaudible as the audio will be blocked by some of the track's plugins" and the track will not play any sound until I remove the plugin from it.

Lith synth is a' VST synthesizer' not a 'VST effect' . You want to use a MIDI clip to get audio out of this track.

If the plug-in is an instrument (sometimes called a VSTi to distinguish it from a sound effect of some sort (or VST)), the contents of the track/clips feeding it need to be MIDI. It sounds like you have audio clips on your track. Lith can't process audio (wave) clips as input, hence the message.
