Real tech geek question on Tracktion setup

As a former SX user, SX explicitly states that one of the OS optimizations to perform on W2K/XP is to set the processing priority to background applications. This is due to the fact that SX runs the different audio engine components as background activities while the sequencer runs in the foreground.

What about Tracktion??? What is the optimal setting? I've tried both and haven't noticed any differences in processor loading, etc. but it could have an effect with different things which may or may not be apparent - for example latency or even background process stability.

OK Tracktion tech geeks - who really knows?

I think background processes include ASIO drivers. And they need to be the highest priority.
