This certainly applies to all Melda modulations although I'm going with MCCGenerator at the moment.

In short, is there a way to always start at the 'beginning' of a modulation wave form when pressing the DAW's play button when the DAW is at position 0 in the song/pattern ?

Use case: I have a square modulation waveform that is just nice when the (MDrummer) pattern starts at the beginning and I make it manually start at the beginning of the square wave in MCCGenrator (which activates an external FX). It's crucial that MCCGenerator starts also at the same time as the pattern regarding the square waveform. Which will seemingly not happen as MCCGenerator wave position is constantly moving, even when the DAW (Bitwig) is stopped.

Is there a way to tell MCCGenerator to reset at the beginning of its waveform when the DAW's transport starts ?

Cheers.

Found it ! A MIDI clip in Bitwig has to be created on the FX track and a note added to signal the start. The clip has to be of the proper length, or made non-looping.
