Alesis Nitro Drums setup on Waveform

I'm trying to get my Alesis Nitro drums setup in Waveform Free using EZDrummer 2 but Waveform doesn't recognize when I hit my drumpads on the kit. I am connecting to my PC using USB out from the drumkit. Any suggestions as to what could be going on?? Thanks,

Make sure it's showing up in: Settings midi devices and enable it, green tick.
Make sure: only show enabled devices is un-ticked.
Then put that as input on track with EZY drummer.
