I have what seems like a couple hundred VST that are listed under 'effect'. Is there some way to edit the category for a plugin in W11?
I have searched the forum, but probably not using the correct search terms.
Editing plugin categories - is this possible?

In Settings>Plugin, under Validate Selected, you can tick "show custom menu menu editor." It looks like you can create your own groups, etc.
I have a ton of plugins myself, and new to WF, and have played with it a bit, but it may be what you're looking for? I've only gone so far, because I don't want to screw things up beyond repair, but this may do the trick.
There's a tagging option slightly to the left of Custom Menu Editor- Plugin Selector.
