Hi,
Maybe that's a silly question but what's the equivalent of a modulation envelope in Diva ?
Thanks

Hi Caton,
not sure what specifically you're looking for.
Every envelope is a modulating envelope because it changes the values (or amplitude) of a parameter over time.
If a parameter in Diva can take a modulation source, then you can assign any of Diva's envelopes to it and that envelope will then modulate the parameter your assigned it to.
Or were you looking for something else and I misunderstood?

Yes that's what I thought.
It's just that on some synths there's an amp envelope and mod envelope section and a filter envelope.
So I guess in Diva amp envelope is envelope 1 and then you can use envelope 2 to modulate filter or any parameter you want basically ?

Yes, by default Diva's Env1 is the amp envelope and Env2 is the mod envelope.caton wrote: Wed Apr 29, 2020 12:24 pmSo I guess in Diva amp envelope is envelope 1 and then you can use envelope 2 to modulate filter or any parameter you want basically ?
You can use Gate as amp envelope ("VCA") and then reuse Env 1 freely for any other modulation task.
