How to Set Constant Pitch by Note in MSF

I've created a drum sound I want to be triggered only on a specific midi note. I would like to be able to change the pitch of said drum in an easy way too in order to tune it, so it fits the key of my song.

The pitch is controlled by a ModalFilter module where I've set the pitch to constant. The constant pitch is always an A4, and in order to tune it, I have to add or subtract octaves and semitones. That is really inconvenient.

Is there a setting to change this behavior so I can just select a note in constant pitch mode?

If not, is there a way to use MultiParameters to get the desired behavior?

If also not, Vojtech, could you please add this as an option? That would be wonderful.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Just use a multiparameter in banks mode. The bank will modulate the semitones and you can label each bank with a specific note. I believe in constant mode the default note is "A". I used this in my snare device in the video below. I didn't show how to do it in the video, but you can see the control and its easy to figure out once you use the banks mode in the multiparameter.\

That works. It's a little tedious to set up, but better than nothing. Thank you.

Also you can make the MP have the option to be stepped or not. That way you can move in 1 semitone steps or fine tune, if needed.

For drums I'd actually recommend simply using the MDrummer modules ;)

Could you explain that a little further? I tried setting the "Stepped/Continuous" option in the Multiparameter settings, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

I can't find the part where I can do physical modeling, like Chandler has shown in his videos, in the MDrummer modules. Could you show me? Chandler has done at least 3 videos on modeling drums, but now you're saying I should use MDrummer instead? Maybe you should tell Chandler more clearly what kind of videos you want him to make.

Also, how can I set the pitch of a drum by note in the MDrummer modules? I can only see a way to control the frequency in the synth module, and the samples don't even have an annotation of the pitch, let alone a way to tune them. Maybe a better manual would explain that to me?

Did you even read my question? I mean, if you're not offering a solution, why say anything at all?

Yeah, I was frustrated and overreacted. It's all good :)
