Yeah, there's one instance of Tricent for the body of the snare, it's pretty tonal sounding, and one instance for noise using the trick from MorphedDreams. I have a pitch bend bending down from an octave at the beginning of each hit. Then i grouped together the two snare instances and put the 'soft snare compressor' preset followed by the 'bright room' reverb preset on the group.empphryio wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 11:26 pmYes the snare is really really good. You just used stock ableton compressor and reverb on it?wireframewolves wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 7:51 pm It was pretty challenging! I actually ended up liking the snare I made a lot.

Got off to a late start this month, but gotta say, I love this synth, Björn! I thought I might escape the '80s this round, but with this synth one can't help but revel in them!

Here's my submission this month - little adjustments might occur. Again: Brilliant work by Björn - this is a great synth. It goes straight to my "essential synths" folder.

Thanks, doc. And I'm sure there's a '50s groovebox hidden somewhere inside the Tricent!

Hi all,
This is my entry for this month. Like a transit of the venus infront the sun, this track has also three parts. The time before and after the transit, the entry and exit phase, and the transit itself, when venus is crossing the disc of sun. In my track you can hear the first and second part as a reprise after the third part.
When I first tested Tricent I thought, oh ... a month without drums. But than the noise trick came up and suddenly I had the wish to make good drums with just this short noise burst. And yeah ... it worked!

Done in Reaper v5.51
31 x Tricent by Full Bucket

Here is my Tricent entry. Once again Full Bucket has provided us with a terrific synth. Accurate emulations of old hardware like this provide a special challenge as so many things that we take for granted with contemporary synths are not there. I think it sparks creativity (along with a bit of frustration!)
Special thanks to the man with many names (from OSC Slack) who came up with "Soxophone" for my melody instrument -- a sax with a sock in it.
17 instances of Trident in Logic Pro X. 1 use of OTT (on kick), Logic compressors, EQ, delays and reverb. Nova (free) and Limiter No6 on the master bus. SPAN for sonic confidence.
And of course, thank you to BJ and Richard for keeping this fun competition and community going!
Enjoy.....

Valhalla Supermassive is legal right...? Not sure if it's that or what but working on my 3rd song with Tricent and it sounds so much nicer than the first two.
