I've been editing a mix for a few wweeks and am suddenly getting dumped out of Tracktion 1.6.0.1 (Win2000) with this error (after which the blue-screen of death appears briefly then the OS reboots!):
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Assertion Failed
Program c:\Program Files\Tracktion\Tracktion.exe
File: c:\Program FIles\microsoft visula studio\muprojec...
Line: 213
Expression: sampleFrame > 0
After selecting Abort, ReWireDLL posts an error message too.
This happens when I am freezing tracks, or a track. It happens no matter what track I freeze, at pretty much the same point in the freeze prgress bar (c. 30%).
Anybody have a clue? Jules?
Thx - Andrew

It's not a tracktion message - could be a problem in ReWire, or more likely a driver going wrong if you're getting a blue-screen..

Thank you Jules -- that was fast -- will a tracktion re-intall (done) also re-install ReWire support? That would limit it to a driver, presumably.jules wrote:It's not a tracktion message - could be a problem in ReWire, or more likely a driver going wrong if you're getting a blue-screen..
