No fullscreen in Linux?

I recently started using Linux Mint 19.3. I am trying Waveform 11 on it. The first thing I noticed is that it is not able to fullscreen. Is it a limitation of Linux or Tracktion? Is there a setting, command or whatever for this in Linux?

Do you mean occupying whole screen like F11 in browser? It can be achieved with windowmanager's tricks.

I was easily able to fullscreen by clicking this icon at the top-right corner in Windows:

But this is not working in Linux (Ubuntu / Linux Mint)
