I've been on a week long quest to get the KX ASIO drivers working with my Win98SE, SBLive Platinum with Live Drive and Tracktion working.
MIDI, works excellent, no noticeable latency (5.6 mS).
However, no audio input devices are showing up in the settings page. I've got the KX ASIO device set as the Wave Device. The only things that show up in the list are KX Output devices, no input devices.
I don't want to bother with the on-board effects processing of the Live card. All I'll ever want to record is from the Aux 2 left and right RCA connectors on the front of the Live Drive. I'm about to jack all of that stuff like the timbre, surrounder, etc. off of the KX DSP page - I think they are just cluttering up the screen. I plan to just use VST plugs for effects.
I'm at a loss. This device looks like it's selected in the KX mixer applet.
I must be doing something wrong. Any advice?

Update:
If you have a SBLive Platinum 5.1 (including the Live Drive front panel I/O panel), then the ASIO routings fart on themselves quite badly.
DJSticks advice from KX Project: Play around with different ASIO ports until you find some that your host (Tracktion in my case) actually recognizes them.
Well, I tried my Aux2 L/R routed to ASIO 0/1, 2/3, 4/5, 6/7 and finally 8/9 and on 8/9, T recognized them and now I can happily record audio into T (after nearly 2 weeks of tweaking).
5.6 mS latency on a card that you can get for almost free now.
