BR: Selecting a track in routing chain blocks midi [incl. Repro Video]

Hi guys,

I updated this threat, because my last assumption was wrong (Midi sense).

Here is the real issue:
Depending on the cursor track focus, midi will get blocked in a track chain.

Repro
- create 4 tracks
- route track 1 & 2 to track 3
- route track 3 to track 4
- put a midi monitor on track 3
- put a midi clip with some notes on track 3
- put a vst on track 3 after midi monitor to enable midi for this track
- put a vst on track 4

routing: track 1+ track 2 => track 3 => track 4 => output

=> depending on the plugin selection with the mouse, midi will get blocked at track 3.

Current behaviour:
Selecting track 3 blocks midi transport on track 3.
Selecting a different track reengages midi on track 3.

Expected behaviour:
Midi transport should work all the time, no matter of cursor selection.


This one was quite tricky to find and pin point.
