When matching spectrum, the Range knob also has Influence when being set before capturing. So different combinations of before and after settings are palossible. Can anybody explain it's exact purpose/Limits/function?

Thanks

If I recall, yes, the range influences the matching, with the intention being that you leave it alone after matching. However, I've found it useful when I wanted to over or under exaggerate the matching. A bit like an extreme dry/wet control.

Is there a difference, If i Set it to 24db or 64db?
If i Set it to 24 the curve in extreme cases can't be Displayed in that areas... Does that mean, that it is just not visible but working or is it not working (because it Just cannot bei intense enough in that areas?) in that Case?

I believe what you see is what you get. If the curve is flat because it's 'out of range' then what you'll get is flat. So, in cases where you have extreme curves, set the range to really high so that it can properly capture the full curve.

Ah, thanks, that was exactly the question!

B.t.w. I compared it to the Ozon Match EQ and Melda won by far. It is so much better for what I'm doing...

Thank you!

And yes, as vectorwarrior explains - it has an effect when matching and after that you can use it as sort of a dry/wet. There could be another dry/wet of course, but since it would do the same thing, I decided to keep just one control.
