Yeah I know which is why I got it but now Essential supports chords and is a free update - anyway I will wait till they give me a better offer on the update

Does the Universal Algorithm in V5 Studio the "same" like in V4? I have to pitch over 200 files with it and don't want to pay again for that V5 update, because I still paid for the V4 update and V3 users get it for the same price now. They have so much update offers, but their V4 Studio users get the worst deal.

There's someone on Gearslutz who swears the new algorithm is worse. I have had good experiences but it's a good question I can't answer for sure.

I read some reviews and V5 is backward compatible, so it seems the old algorithm should be the same, perhaps I can test the V5 demo, although I have V4 Studio installed.

I am interested in getting a better price on the Melodyne 4 Studio to V5 upgrade.

JRR Audio gives decent discount.
But I am looking for an even lower price.
Around $100 will do it.

Four months to Black Friday.
I believe last year they had a BF sale.
Can I wait four months?

everytime i think i can't i remember Melodyne 3 users got 5 for 49$ and i keep waiting
