KVR Search results- is it me?

Any problems with the site? How can we improve KVR?

Hey gang,

Maybe there's something obvious my old brain has missed- but in case there isn't, I'll blather on...
is there a way to make the results of Search NOT erased/forgotten by the browser (Chrome in my case), if "Open in new tab" isn't used on a result link?

So many times, I've been dumb and hit "Back", only to get whatever page I was on before Search.
This seems counterintuitive to me as a user; most people, I would think, are used to search engines wherein returning to search results simply means hitting the "Back" button/key.

Since Search offers not a few parameters to customize, it's not fun to have to re-enter everything
if you've run a pretty specific search and forget hitting Back resets everything.

Obviously, this is not a universe-collapsing crisis, but any non-sniffy-and-dismissive feedback is welcome ;)

Discontinue use if rash or irritation develops.

What is the problem you have?
Ditto on ccDuckett's explanation.

The search takes you to where you can't return to the same place... ;)
I've not seen any other search that does this either... a bit frustrating to say the least.

A workaround is right click then open in new tab. I usually forget to do this here.

Thanks for all the replies, even if it was hard to get my point/question; it's probably just old expectations of web hierarchy that let you click a link from a results page, hit the "back" button after loading the link, and return to a preserved results page (including results page number as well as keyword settings) without a reset search engine.
