How would you deal with NKS conversions for user defined tags? Having the Diva tags separated from the user tags?
While I absolutely love the idea of user tags, I love the simplicity of the tagging system as it is right now, and the last thing I'd like to see is everybody making their own "similar tags" creating a bloated mess for tags like Omnisphere.

We have no plans to introduce user defined tags on a large scale. NKS tagging is done with conversion tables and - for our official releases - manual corrections. At the moment we plan to make names of favourite smart folders editable (the not yet tag renaming) and there's some talk about adding a user editable bank name. The bank name could be reused for user definable tagging, much like the favourites, but baked into the preset itself.
