Odin2 free vst has a very unique modulation source which is called "Unison Index". Chekout the synth here: https://www.thewavewarden.com/odin2

Unison Index referres to the individual voices of a unision stack. Say you have 3 voices unision, then "Unison Index" will have the values -1, 0, 1.

What you can do with it in Odin2 - by example:
1.) Apply tiny filter modulation for each unision voice. If the voices are 100% spread from left to right then you might end up with slightly different filter settings for left and right giving you more sence of stereo.
2.) Slightly detune the LFO frequency for each unision voice giving interesting fx again when he unsion voices are spread from left to right.

I bet this could be complicated in MSF. Anyways ... take it as challenge ;-)

Did you already check out "Sequence 1" (and 2)?
It sets a random value for each unison voice.

Thanks for mentioning the "Sequence 1" (and 2) modulators.
They offer Pseudo-Random sequences which is different to a sequences of values [-1,...,1] with n equal spaced steps inbetween, where n is the number of unison voices.
Pseudo-Random numbers don't offer the same sort of "control" as a sequence of values that is known beforehand. In Odin2 I can completely control the panorama split on my own because I know with n=3 first voice is left, 2nd is middle, 3rd is right. With a Pseudo Sequence each voice will be somewhere in the stereo field...

But reasoning about this, I think even Melda may not be able to provide this modulator. think of a simple experiment: Put a single oscillator with unsion switched on and set to 4 voices into a unsion module set to 3 voices. What would be the number n, i.e. the number of unison voices?
I think this is why Melda is only able to provide a pseudo random number sequence which is not dependent on the actual number of voices in the unison cluster.

I understand, good request.

As to the experiment, the number of voices in your example is 3. The 4 unison voices inside the OSC itself are just treated as 1 voice as far as modulation is concerned.

I'm afraid this just won't be possible, sorry, there may be multiple unisons, unisons inside unisons etc. It's technically just really not possible inside the modular environment. But perhaps I could add a few parameters to the unison itself, so that it spreads the panorama etc.
