I dont know if I have switched something off or what I am doing wrong but I can no longer get Waveform 11 pro to create takes.
I setup waveform with an 8 bar loop. I arm the track then begin recording. It used to allow me to play the same piece over and over until I got it the way I want it. I could then choose the take I liked.
Now it just records over and over on the same section.
Please help.

Are you punching in as well as looping? Turn off Punch.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

It wont allow both loop and punch in at the same time.
However I have just figured out what was up. I think.
MIDI input action was set to "merge newly recorded midi into any existing clips". I changed it to "overlay new clips, containing newly recorded midi" That seemed to fix it.
I dont recall ever having to do that before mind you. lol.
Thanks.
