MIDI Clock Out of W11 Questions

I am using W11's MIDI Clock Out to trigger a Eurorack clock module and I have a question.

How do I force W11 to send out a MIDI reset trigger along with the clock signal? Currently, it only sends out a reset signal on two conditions:

1. Pressing play at the beginning of a project. If I press play at any other point in a project, it sends out no reset and no clock. W11 should send out MIDI clock no matter where you play it from.

2. Immediately after pressing record. This is significant because it doesn't change based on count-in settings. If I set a 2 bar count in, I'll get a reset trigger and 2 bars of clock, then no reset trigger when the track actually starts recording. I feel like it should send a reset when it starts recording as well.

I'd like the option to send out a MIDI reset trigger every X number of bars to reduce clock lag and keep the sequence going. I can't find a way to do that.

I'd also appreciate any tips on clocking using W11. I've unchecked the setting "Use MIDI Driver for MIDI Timing". Unchecking this seems to have give me a more consistent MIDI clock out. I'm not sure how it actually works, though, so I don't know if this is best practice.
Linux version?
