Questions about automation

Hello,

I have two questions about automation:
- is it possible to mute or solo one single automation?
- is there a way to assign only one controller to record each automation?
The best way I found is to assign a fader from my control surface to the quick control parameter plugin, but I have to change this quick control parameter with each new automation...
What I'd like is to click on my automation track and record it with my controller, then click on another automation and record it with the same controller, etc...
