Looks like its functionality (in terms of sound) is the same as in CONVOLUTIONEZ but it has a different way of organizing IR files.
You can create a bank of files, each file sourced from anywhere on your computer. Furthermore, you can set up a MIDI controller to select which IR in the bank is active.
You can do similar things in a more fiddly way in EZ; use 'custom path' to load any IR on your computer, define a list of 'favourites' (similar to a bank) but in that scenario the MIDI controller will not jump from favourite to favourite but will cycle through all the IRs adjacent to (in the same folder as) the selected favourite.
And when you save a preset the actual IR samples are stored (copied) with it, which is handy if E.G. copying your user data to a second computer.
I'm no expert with all this, just checking it out myself, but I agree with mccy..WOOOOOOOO!!!
