Shouldn't MSF compete with Kontakt?

So I'm not sure why but I figured that MSF would be bigger!? More libraries, libraries with KONTAKT like GUIS... guitars, drums, So why does it require complex programming to load. pNG???
Why doesn't MXXX have GUIs like other plugins?
If I made a Massive Passive Clone, I'd want a GUI for it. Or a GUI editor for MXXX id pay $300 for that...
Also why no amp Sims...or simulations of real hardware... I've been preaching this for years.
MXXX and MSF could be the only instrument or analog plugin needed..
Hell I'd pay $500 each for a GUI editor for MXXX and MSF
Also
Why do drums get all the love??? Where is MGuitar or MAmpmaker??? I know hundreds of people who would pay for this ecosystem
. C'mon Vojtech!!!!!!!!!!

1. This is your third thread. I guess it look "cleaner" to only post on thread and maybe edit it, if you want to change something in your thread later.
2. MSF can have GUIs like in Kontakt already. Sooner it will even be easier to build them. I am not sure though, if MXXX will get the same possibility later. I somehow guess that it shouldn't be that much of a problem technically, since Meldaplugins seem to work with some kind of core kernel / framework.
3. Aren't "hardware simulations" already technical possible in MXXX? IIRC people already mentioned that e.g. "analog" is basically some kind of slight distortion and un-linearity or so. Anyway: if you can get the right tone out of MXXX already, go for it, regardless if it has the label "analog" or "simulation" on it - go with your ear.
4. For "MGuitar" there is MCabinet already for the cabinet simulation and MAmp or MDistortion for everything distortion related in front of the cabinet. IIRC somewhere in the forum was also some kind of hint that at least an idea already exists to have more distortion algos or so in the future - but as always: no promise.
In general: I think I can understand your "feeling" and the wish to "just use one brand or plugin for everything", hehe. Keep in mind that you basically can do sooo unbelievabel much already with Melda tools. Often times it might be just some kind of lack opf knowledge on how to use certain things or what plugins can be used in combination for a specific purpose. Just try to experiment with the modules in MXXX or so and watch all Chandlers tutorials on YT. Maybe other tutorials will also be on YT at some time!
Edit:
Darkstar just postes here in another thread this link:
https://www.meldaproduction.com/about/d ... mDeviceGUI
I never tried it, but apparently the GUI thing is already available in MXXX as well, hehe. Nice! And soon there will be a nice GUI editor by Melda. Stay tuned.

The whole reason I've been posting like crazy, is the potential here. Native instruments does not have a modular FX system even close to MXXX , nor an instrument system (MSF) that can integrate into MXXX. Just can't overstate the value of these 2 systems enough. They could become a standard like KONTAKT.only much much better. Also , I've never seen anyone make a GUI for an MXXX unit that looks anything like KONTAKT or Realtor or whatever . That's all. And yes, more algorithms and more modules, would allow any plugin or design to be truly replicated. Like I have been spamming the past 3 years, if Vojtech needs funding or donations....I can get them for him. Money is not an issue..

What makes you think that money is the issue? Vojtech constantly mentions, that he has too much work and not enough time. Or the request is of lower priority.. then you just have to be patient.Underoath77 wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2020 6:58 pm The whole reason I've been posting like crazy, is the potential here. I think that anyone with the skills can build Custom GUIs for Devices. And I reckon Vojtech will consider well-designed ones for inclusion in MSF or MXXX. But ... they will take some time.
Now, as both MSF and MXXX have the ability to support Custom GUIs, will you be sending the $1,000 to Vojtech?

I don't see an editor, I see complex programming....

Like I said, an editor for MXXX as well, I know low on the list, would change the mixing game. Thanks for your time!

I guess the editor will work for MXXX GUIs as well, since the base concept is XML code.

I am not getting your point, sorry. What is missing, according to your view (except a proper and intuitive easy to use GUI editor
) ?

I was just elaborating a little lol obviously that Voxbox GUI wouldn't go in MSF lol. It would go in MXXX , just saying an easy editor would be great for the front screen!
