I downloaded the SocaLabs 8 bit treats from Tracktion and tried them out on my Ubuntu 19.10 install. No dice. The plugin launches but the UI is a mess. No text labels show and many of the controls display incorrectly. This may all just be bad color palette selection.
I downloaded the whole Linux pack from SocaLabs and it does display correctly. Below is a shot of the SocaLabs version and the Tracktion version.

The Tracktion version use the font verdana, `sudo apt install ttf-mscorefonts-installer`
