I was wondering if Mtransient will ever get an upgrade? Such as control of the sustain, and more precision options?

I'm afraid not. The algorithm really exposes all of the relevant parameters. If you need to bring focus to sustain, simply lower the attack!

Am I missing something? You already can control the sustain, right?

Should have clarified, compress the sustain like how other transient shapers are able to do. I guess if Mtransient was able to have separate outputs for the transient and sustain. Slapping on compressor on the sustain in mxxx would be a workaround.Tagirijus wrote: Tue Aug 04, 2020 10:55 am Am I missing something? You already can control the sustain, right?![]()

Hm, I guess you could achieve some similar workflow (compressing attack or sustain) with MDynamicsMB by using the crossover as a transient splitter, right?

You could, I just don't like the sound of the transient/tonal splitter.Tagirijus wrote: Wed Aug 05, 2020 7:22 am Hm, I guess you could achieve some similar workflow (compressing attack or sustain) with MDynamicsMB by using the crossover as a transient splitter, right?

Try the level crossover instead. Set the modulator (that modulates the level value) to a level follower with transient detection.SeeingInMidi wrote: Wed Aug 05, 2020 9:08 pmYou could, I just don't like the sound of the transient/tonal splitter.Tagirijus wrote: Wed Aug 05, 2020 7:22 am Hm, I guess you could achieve some similar workflow (compressing attack or sustain) with MDynamicsMB by using the crossover as a transient splitter, right?
