RESET PRESET

It should do just that, not INIT it.
Reset to the presets default values.
Annoying when you worked on a patch then instead of undoing something with in your DAW, you think Oh cool RESET looks like that what i would like to do RESET , Not INIT the Damn Preset.
Honestly never seen a Synth with so many damn options to INIT Reset ect a patch.
Maybe simplify the preset settings a little.

Because i didnt save the bank it was in.
Also if you modify the preset, and make changes. how do you revert back to the original preset?
Insert, Reset Init, are all the same damn thing.

So i have to close Sylenth , then reopen it to get the presets to set to default(not Init)
Ridiculous. Iv had Sylenth for a few years now, just now noticing this.

From the Sylenth 1 Manual:

"With the Reset Preset option you can reset the parameters of the currently
selected preset to its original state. This way you can undo all parameter
changes you made to the selected preset".

Works fine here. I did twenty edits to a patch and all of them were reverted when I used Reset Preset. Not sure if there is a limit to the number of changes that can be reverted but I doubt it. I'm not going to test more than twenty since at that point you might as well have started with the INIT patch

Well could very well be iam not running the latest version.
I think its 3.53. I didn't like that they changed the copy and paste to part a,b. and not to a to a osc settings
like its always been.
edit- OK it does work like that, but the preset has to be saved in the bank first.. UGH
What i did was copy paste preset into my bank, then made an edit, then by not saving the bank first, and trying to reset the preset to original.. not saved in the bank first so it reset to Init settings..
Ok i get it, still mildly infuriating.

The latest version of Sylenth is 3.067

You can Copy Osc A1 to Osc A2 etc. It's always a good idea to run the latest version.

Yeah reasons why i dont update much with Sylenth, or any developer at that.
Now the mod wheel and pitch wheel are broke.
move my mw on my Novation Impulse, and it moves the pw in Sylenth now .. again this has happened before, and Lennard said it was my midi controller. OK. So i jammed a plastic piece of something and it has stopped sending cc data. Good. Nope
All other Synths with visible pw mw control guis dont work like this.
Its always something with software Am i Right?

Deleted Midi Config file, its back to normal now.
