Do you mean that the events aren't shown when you look in the event list? Or what?

So are the events showing in the event list?

Strange, today it works as expected, at least as far as Mulab is concerned, I suppose.
Maybe there is something wrong with the pedal because a minute ago I had already released the pedal, yet the keyboard still seemed to be in the pedal mode. Maybe the opposite happens as well...

Could it be that you connect the sustain pedal after your midi controller is turned ON.
Because in that case it will work opposite.
Sustain pedals should be connected before you turn the controller on.

The pedal is always connected to my Midi controller, which is turned on automatically when Windows starts up.sbj wrote: Tue Sep 29, 2020 3:29 pm Could it be that you connect the sustain pedal after your midi controller is turned ON.

I have noticed a similar behavior with the pitch wheel. Sometimes I am still on the wrong pitch although I have long released the wheel.

You need to say what events you're seeing in the Event List.

OK, so the events are reaching MuLab and being recorded correctly.
About the only thing I can think is if the channel number is getting messed with somehow and the target you're playing back through isn't expecting the controller on the channel it's being received on... but I've no idea why that would be the case.
Another thing to try:
- Add an "Event Monitor" module before the target module and watch for the controller events when you're playing live
- Then play back the recorded events and see whether the controller events look any different (including that they appear at all!
)
