Dual MIDI inputs (two seperate controllers)...

I have two seperate MIDI controllers, one being an old Edirol PC300 keyboard (with no bells and whistles, just a key board), the other being a M-Audio X-Session MIDI controller (just KNOBS and a SLIDER). Bacily I have a key board to enter and control notes and knobs to control CC automation. Within the setup of TRACKTION I have made sure they are both ACTIVE but I don't see both of them within the enviroment (I think, I am at work and I am not sure if my MEMORY is serving me right or not).

I guess what I am after is can I assign two differnt MIDI devices to the same MIDI track at the same time??? Or am I going to be doing some SHUFFLING between the two devices (if I can even get them both to show up within the enviroment, but as I said I can't remeber if they do or not)???

If both are enabled in the device setup tab, then both should show up on the main page. Sometimes it might seem that initially only one is there, but it turns out the icons are in the same place (happened to me - I wondered where the second one was, until I moved the first one!)

As to whether you can assign both to one track, I think so, but don't quote me on it. If not, create two tracks, and set the output of one of them to feed the other, which would have a similar effect.

Yes you can do it, just point both inputs to the same track.

If you don't see all your enabled inputs, check they aren't hidden behind other icons, or off the top / bottom of the page..

Yup! You can!
Tried it just two days ago at a friends place.
