Why am I getting this? It happens across a few projects, particularly where the mix is either a little hot, or where there are many (i.e.15-20+) tracks. There is no clipping during playback of the project and I'm always at least -4db. Distorted clipping only occurs when exported.
I have some eq/compression/saturation plugs in the master plugin area. An initial workaround seemed to work if I rendered most of the tracks first, then exported. But now this no longer works.
My standard export settings are (44100 @16bit):
- dithering enabled
- normalising and level adjustment based on RMS disabled
This seems to be a recent problem and I don't recall changing settings.
