It refuses description, allowing only the vague approach of adjectives: dark, light, raw, angelic. Who or what is making these noises? Where are they coming from and what do they point to? What kind of entity can leave such a troubling sonic remnant?

1. If you're planning to create your own presets then ZebraHZ is well worth it even without the soundset. Simply because it has more FX, modulators and modulation matrix slots.
2. Yes, Zebra2 presets are fully compatible with ZebraHZ and visible inside the browser (they are actually indistinguishable from ZebraHZ presets).
3. You will receive a download link. Download, install, use your existing Zebra2 serial number to register.
4. I hope so
5. Also interested. Especially in those annual Bitwig deals...

Only thing I would add to this is in Answer 2.drzhnn wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2020 1:33 pm 1. If you're planning to create your own presets then ZebraHZ is well worth it even without the soundset. Simply because it has more FX, modulators and modulation matrix slots.

You don't import your Z2 files into ZHZ per se, there is a symbolic link between the two done automatically at installation, so ZHZ sees it without you having to do anything.

I hate to say but recently I had to switch to VS Code (it's not as nice and fast as Sublime Text, but I needed better python and c# autocomplition). Anyway. I used python syntax to make the code more readable. As for plugins, I remember using ASCII Decorator a lot to add comments and visually separate parts of code in the script - they also stand out in the minimap. Origami. Built-in bookmarks are essential - quickly jump between different parts of the document using keyboard shortcuts (Control+F2 to toggle a bookmark, F2 and Shift+F2 to navigate, Control+Shift+F2 to clear). At some point I tried creating code snippets for various UI elements, like labels and panes, but they didn't help much, so I ended up just using a separate file with chunks of code that I needed most often. Avoid spaces in element names! Use underscores instead. That way you can simply double click the name to select it, otherwise you'll need to click somewhere within quote marks first and then press Control+Shift+Space or something wrist bending like that.resistent wrote: Fri Oct 16, 2020 1:58 pm Since corona-times I have a some spare time to get deeper into the script thing and while I have the creator of 'Zebra Redux' on talk (I learned a lot by examining your script) and I saw you too use Sublime Text I wonder if you have tips (plugins?) which makes it easier to work with the skin scripts? Like highlighting, replacing in selection and so on?
Hope it helps. And good luck to you

I think it’s well worth it, though the way HZ implements Diva’s filters is a little weird. That took a bit of time to get used to because it breaks with how Zebra 2 works. I imagine that when Zebra 3 comes out, that concern will be gone and we’ll get a more coherent UX design.

The problem with that is that the grid widget in Z2 supports a max of 32 modules, which ZHZ overrules. It's a 32-bit bitmask of sorts. Expanding it seems tricky. But I hope it will still happen...

The "scopes" were simple output VU meters which could alternatively show the volume in the signal path, wherever the modules "scope1" and "scope2" were placed. They are in rows 4 and 5 in the rightmost lane of the Grid. So, nothing fancy, not really an oscilloscope type of view.
