After Downloading and installing the MDrummer Drum Empire, can the 56.9GB file be deleted or moved to a backup? Or do I need to keep the original download?

I deleted it, everything still works. It's just like a rar/zip/exe installer sort of thing, once it's done its job you don't need it. My whole Melda data folder get's backed up in my usual (x2) file backups so don't need it for that.
And BTW folks, if you download/ install from within MDrummer, that big 'pack' file will end up on your hard drive. You might not realize that it exists because the automatic installation did not involve manually dealing with it.

Yes, you can certainly delete it, but I'd recommend keeping it somewhere, so you don't need to redownload it in future
